Dream Bear - The Barbershop

The sketch thus far, this will be the place where you can customize your bears look (give it a new color, new face, hair etc). Thinking of adding a bored lady bear with pink cotton candy hair behind the counter, filing her nails and a semi gay bear who's doing another npc's hair.

Dream Bear - Main Square Step by Step

Here's a step by step of how I made the Main Square, for those who were interested :)

I started out with some rough sketching, figuring out what I wanted to do with the pic. The perspective angle was pretty much set already, cause of the way the bears will be moving trough areas.

















I then made a rough 3D model, which allows me to see if the thing I had in my head work in perspective and play around with the placement of the buildings and such.









Brought the render into Photoshop and started drawing over it (I hardly ever draw on paper anymore...)

One of the first sketches of our still nameless princess of Great Beronia. Roel wants to call her Jade, but fuck him, too cliche. Also sounds like she's a prostitute -_- I like where its going so far, but the design isnt what I want it to be yet...

I'll give ya all some more info on her with the next designs/sketches.

First work in progress of a Shadowbear design. Prince Growl uses magic masks (or other objects, we're still thinking about that one, something you can shoot off em with a catapult) to turn ordinary Dream Bears into Shadowbears, who use their big gloved hands to catch dreams and turn em into nightmares. Those fuckers! :o

DreamBear Blog Promo pic

This one took me ages, haha, way too long, but damn, it was fun to work on. Been a while since I last did my own colors, was exciting to do it again. Not completely satisfied yet, but I already spend too much time on it (had to be finished yesterday), so, leaving it alone for now.

Its gonna be the background for the upcoming DreamBear blog, I tried to make it so that people with different screen sizes and resolutions could always see something interesting. Me, I cant see the panda bear on my screen, not completely anyways (I have a 1920x1080 resolution), but I can see the whole part on the right. Other people will be able to see the panda, but not the right side etc. Let's see how that'll work out

Guess this is the first pic I've shown with a Dream Orb in it, more info on that later I guess, haha. Hopefully I'll be able to crap out some promo character artwork later this week. Like Emperor Panda, the Nightmare Bears, the princess and the main villain. I'm telling you, this game is getting more and more fun to work on. YOOOOSHHH!!!
